Erin and Josh knew each other when they were younger, but it wasn’t until the re-met later in life and the magic happened. On one of their adventures to the Moonshine Ranch, he asked her to marry him. I had met these two lovebirds just after my own wedding at Paicines Ranch last year, and it was clear; they were smitten for each other forever and ever and that the Paicines Ranch was the perfect place for their I-Dos to happen.
Their wedding day topped the charts in the high 90s but the amazing “bride-chilla” didn’t bat one beautiful eyelash. She was in her moment of bliss and savored every beautiful moment of that day. Her bridesmaids, friends, and family beamed with love and adoration for this amazing woman. I tried to hold back my own tears watching the abundance of love that day.
She had a “father reveal” where we walked her up to her father in a secret location. He had his eyes closed and when we gave him the countdown, he opened them. His face lit up with absolute love and elation. I can’t even begin to explain how lucky I feel to get to capture such special, intimate moments in life.
The groomsmen rocked every moment in style and also all adored their groom. Each man was like a brother to Josh and offered their own expertise that day, whether it was in teaching the art of fixing boots with tape or making Josh laugh.
The ceremony was gorgeous and vibrant with sunflowers and poppy teals throughout. You can just see the joy and pure happiness radiating from Erin and Josh.
And, these two had a brilliant sense of humor. During the retrieval of the garter, Erin had a hidden “Smirnoff Ice” waiting for Josh up her dress. As the “iced” tradition goes, he drank it like a champ and then went back to find the actual garter.
I couldn’t be happier for these two and the incredible life they have ahead!
